♥ Monday 9th November

Make up your bed into a cosy, cuddly, sweet-scented fortress. Spray perfume on your pillows. Pillage some cushions.

♥ Tuesday 10th November

Wear glitter in your hair.

♥ Wednesday 11th November

Wear your most comfortable clothes.

♥ Thursday 12th November

Dress up; make-up, hair, heels etc, even if you are only going to the corner shop for milk.

♥ Friday 13th November

Write haikus onto post-it notes and adorn your house with them.

♥ Saturday 14th November

Take a walk. Savour the fresh air.

♥ Sunday 15th November

DIY something. Bonus points if it is clothing or accessory-related. It could be simple, like adding sequins to something (probably my preferred method. :P )

Walrus

Hello cupcakes! Notice the new layout? I love how simple it is. I’m getting back into being awesome. Here is a list of things that I am grateful for, up until Thursday 5th November:

♥ Uni going well

♥ Cold air

♥ New clothes

♥ Sweets

♥ Toki Wartooth

(Google that last one.)

I hope that everyone is having a fabulous weekend! Expect a post tomorrow. (:

Yay!

♥ 2010 is drawing close! Start thinking what you wish to achieve next year.

♥ Also, begin planning your planning for next year! By which I mean diaries, planners etc. I’m thinking of incorporating a dream journal into my diary collection for 2010.

♥ Tidy up your bedroom. Light a scented candle. Curl up on the bed with a good book. (My favourite is The Princess Bride.)

Gosh!

Gosh!

Once again I fell off my self-improvement wagon. I’ll be back this week, darlings. Have a good one. I am certainly trying to :)

Awesomeness

This week, make a huge effort with your appearance.

Set your alarm clock earlier. Scrub, shave, scent everywhere. Put on make-up. Wear sparkly jewellery during the day. Forget being practical; be fabulous. Paint your fingernails. Wear the clothes you love. Treat yourself to something cheap and gorgeous, like some costume jewellery. Colour your hair if you so desire.

You are worth the effort.

Ahoy there!Lovelies, I have been ill with flu. Forgive me. (:

Things I am loving, up until Thursday 15th October:

Going to see Winger in March!; power ballads, always; plotting and planning; winter arriving; loving life.

I think I am a little bit in love with these babies; a steal at £20. Here are some ideas on how they could be worn.

Why not dress up your favourite LBD with cream accessories? Off-beat and stylish.

Go for quirky and cute with a funky skirt, cool accessories, and of course gorgeous shoes.

Indulge your feminine side with soft fabrics, peachy pinks and girly jewellery.

Team sexy heels with skinny jeans, a tee, and a quirky hat for off-duty glamour.

Jacket!

♥ It is getting cold (in England at least!). Send your coats and jackets to the dry cleaners, ready for the upcoming winter, and enjoy having them almost as good as new.

University

I am struggling not to be completely miserable about how terribly university has gone so far. The timetable is a complete mess and I have managed to miss a lecture and a seminar already. This is not good. :(

Apart from being completely uninspired by university, we celebrated the boyfriend’s birthday yesterday by getting well and truly hammered.

I don’t like posting a negative message like this, but I’m feeling  blue, and my attempts to make my life more fabulous have run up against a brick wall.

To my poor neglected blog,

I am so sorry I have neglected you. I had a lovely holiday, you see, and have spent the last week catching up with people and being busy preparing myself for university. I hope you can forgive me.

Piirate

Nom Nom!

What is new for me? Well, as we approach the final stretch of 2009, I find myself looking back and thinking that, although it has been a good year so far, it has not been truly remarkable. So, I have comprised a list of things to do before the end of the year, some simple paperwork tasks, some far more exciting. (I know I am all about lists, I am also currently doing 101 Things In 1001 Days, but really, they help me get things done.)

♥ Blood test

♥ Fill in health form

♥ Sort and tidy house

♥ Dentist

♥ Dye hair bright orange

♥ Exercise

♥ Sort all paperwork

♥ Dye hair black

♥ Get new glasses

♥ Work hard at university

♥ Join a society

I am quite excited about the upcoming months. (Christmas is starting to lurk in the corners of stores. How exciting!) Behind the cut, gratitude.
